Starrett 25-441J Dial Indicator

Up for your consideration is a Starrett 25-441J Dial Indicator. This indicator was previously owned, used, and was in poor condition. This gauge does not have any previous owner markings.

The rebuild process started out with complete disassembly, inspection of all components, clean and de-grease of all components using ultrasonic means, replacement of all damaged, missing, or worn parts with OEM Starrett parts, strip old paint and apply new matching paint, meticulously reassemble the gauge, lubricate (using Watch makers oil) all jewel pivot points, and test for proper mechanical operation. This dial indicator is in excellent condition now, has a very smooth rack action and will come with its own Starrett box. The box shows signs of age and wear but is still serviceable. The dial indicator's hand is set at the 9 o'clock position and will provide you with a 1/4-turn preload at zero to begin testing / measuring.
