Country of Manufacture - USA. New item, previously shown by Starrett at Trade Fairs as a display item. Despite box code, comes without a dial indicator. There is superficial surface rust on the base and gauge holding rods and slight pitting on the base due to storage, see photos.

Will clean off with wire wool & oil. This tool can be held in a vice or by a bolt in a machine T-slot coming up through one of the two 3/8. (9.5mm) holes in the base and fastening down on the top surface. Base 8 ½ x 2 ¼ (215mm x 57mm) at the bottom.

Upright Base post 0.464 x 8 (11.8mm x 200mm) with clamping mechanism. X 9 ½ (9.5mm x 240mm) with clamp mechanism.
