Here is a Starrett No. 196 dial indicator set that is in excellent condition. These tools have been used???

You have to look pretty hard to find any imperfections anywhere on any of these tools. This set is complete with all of its accessories. These accessories allow you to set up your tools in a variety of different ways. Everything will work perfectly for you!

The red protective case has done a very good job of protecting these tools. It looks great, opens easily, snaps shut, and holds everything securely. It will continue to protect your tools for many years to come. There is a little weat on the red cardboard protective box. There is also a piece of red duct tape on it covering the previous owners name. Please do not let this detract from what is otherwise a very nice, barely used dial indicator set. These American made tools are ready to go to work immediately and would make a great addition to any precision toolbox. Please look at all the photographs as they can describe the condition these tools much better than I can.
