Starrett No. 25-441 1 dial indicator with No. 3657 magnetic base + flexible post

Here is a Starrett No. 3657 magnetic base with a Starrett No. 25-441 1 dial indicator that are in excellent condition. These tools have been used, so you will find a few minor cosmetic imperfections, but nothing that will hinder their usefulness. When I received this base, there was no post.

I tried to put an American made post on it and found out that the threads are metric. I happened to have a "Flex-O-Post" assembly that has metric threads. The magnet turns "on" and "off" easily and "sticks" solidly to any smooth steel surface. The flexable assembly allows you to adjust it into any position and lock it into place with a turn of the locking lever.

657W fine adjustment feature helps set your indicator up a breeze. PT17850 indicator holding rod and a No. 657S snug are both included.

25-441 dial indicator is also in excellent condition. The plunger moves in and out easily without any hesitations. Everything will work perfectly for you! This base has a vertical reach of approximately 19" and a horizontal reach of about 12".

The original red cardboard protective box have done a very good job of protecting this indicator. It is not the original box for this indicator. It works great, still very solid, and will continue to protect this indicator for many years to come. These American made tools and??? Magnetic base are ready to go back to work immediately and would make a great addition to any precision toolbox. Please look at all the photographs as they can describe the condition of these tools much better than I can.
