Starrett No. 657A magnetic base with a Yuasa 1 dial indicator 657

Here is a Starrett No. 657A magnetic base with a Yuasa dial indicator that are in very good used condition. These tools have been used, so you will find some cosmetic imperfections, but nothing that will hinder their usefulness.

One of these imperfections is that the original owner scribed his/her name on two sides of the magnetic base. Please don't let this detract from what is otherwise a very nice set of tools. The magnet turns "on" and "off" easily and "sticks" solidly on any smooth steel surface. The fine adjustment knob helps setting your indicator up a breeze.

196K snug and a 657Y indicator attachment holds everything together. Everything slides around easily and locks down tight wherever you want it to. 300-005 dial indicator is in excellent condition.

It has a range of 1 and a resolution of. Everything will work perfectly for you! This base and indicator have a vertical reach of almost 11" and a horizontal reach of about 7". It fits great into those spots that the larger magnetic bases just won't fit. This American made magnetic base and???

Indicator are ready to go back to work immediately and would make a great addition to any precision toolbox. Please look at all the photographs as they can describe the condition of these tools much better than I can.
