Starrett No. 657A magnetic base with No. 711 last word indicator

Here is a Starrett No. 657A magnetic base with a Starrett No. 711 last word indicator that are in very good used condition. These tools been used so you will find some minor cosmetic imperfections but nothing that will hinder thier usefulness. The magnet turns "on" and "off" easily and "sticks" solidly on any smooth steel surface.

It is great for getting into those tight places those larger magnetic bases just won't fit in. The fine adjustment knob works great and helps make setting up this indicator a breeze. 711 last word indicator is also in good used condition. On the center of the indicator face, there are some smudges.

The numbers and lines are still easily readable. Please don't let this detract from what is otherwise a very nice used set of tools. These tools will work perfectly for you, just as designed!

The red protective case has done a very good job of protecting this indicator. It has some wear and wrinkles on it from doing its job. It still opens easily and snaps shut. It will continue to protect it for years to come. These tools have a vertical reach of about 9 1/4" and a horizontal reach of about 6 1/2".

American made magnetic base and indicator are ready to go back to work immediately and would make a great addition to any precision toolbox. Please look at all the photographs as they can describe the condition these tools much better than I can.
