Here is a Starrett No. 657AA magnetic base with a Starrett No. There tools have been used so you will find a few minor scratches, nicks, and many dings, but nothing that will hinder the usefulness of this set. This set has been polished up and the paint touched up to bring it back to the nice condition it is now in. The magnet turns "on" and "off" easily and "sticks" solidly on any smooth steel surface. The Starrett dial indicator has also been used and in very good condition with plenty of life left in it. The clear plastic lens has many small minor scratches but it is still easily readable.

This base and indicator have a vertical reach of about 16" and a horizontal reach of about 8". Also included are two snugs that holds these tools together. The last photo shows you where someone has made some identification marks on it.

Please don't let this detract from what is otherwise a nice previously used set. This American made magnetic base and indicator are ready to go back to work immediately and would make a great addition to any precision toolbox. Please look at all the photographs as they can describe the condition these tools much better than I can.
