Here is a Starrett No. It has been polished up and the paint touched up to bring it back to the condition it is now. This base is in good used condition with no initials or engravings anywhere on it.

It has been so you will find a few scratches, dents, and a ding or two, but nothing that will hinder the usefulness of this tool. The magnet turns "on" and "off" easily and "sticks" solidly on any smooth steel surface.

This base has a vertical reach of about 17" and a horizontal reach of about 8 3/4". This base is a few inches larger that its smaller brother 657AA. (see the last photo, not included) This American made magnetic base is ready to go back to work and would make a great addition to any precision toolbox.
