Starrett No. 657TW magnetic base with Flex-O-Post and fine adjustment 657

Here is a Starrett No. 657T magnetic base with a Starrett No. 196 indicator set that are in excellent condition. These tools have been used???

You will find a few minor cosmetic imperfections but nothing that will hinder its usefulness. The magnetic base has a Flex-O-Post assembly and a 657W fine adjustment attachment.

The magnet turns "on" and "off" easily and "sticks" solidly to any smooth steel surface. The Flex-O-Post assembly allows you to adjust it into any position and lock it into place with a turn of the locking lever. The fine adjustment feature helps setting your indicator up a breeze. PT17850 indicator holding rod is included.

The Starrett dial indicator set is also in excellent condition. The plunger moves in and out easily without any hesitations. All of the accessories are included so you have a variety of different ways you can set yout tools up. Everything will work perfectly for you!

This base has a vertical reach of approximately 17 1/2" and a horizontal reach of about 12". The original red cardboard protective boxes have done a very good job of protecting these tools. With the help of some clear tape, they are still very solid and will continue to protect your tools for many years to come. This American made magnetic base is ready to go back to work immediately and would make a great addition to any precision toolbox.
