Starrett No. 657TW magnetic base with Flex-O-Post and fine adjustment 657

Here is a Starrett No. 657T magnetic base with a Flex-O-Post assembly and a 657W fine adjustment attachment. This magnetic base has been used, so you will find a few minor cosmetic imperfections, but nothing that will affect its usefulness. The magnet turns "on" and "off" easily and "sticks" solidly to any smooth steel surface. The Flex-O-Post assembly allows you to adjust it into any position and lock it into place with a turn of the locking lever.

The fine adjustment feature helps setting your indicator up a breeze. Everything will work perfectly for you! PT17850 indicator holding rod is also included. This base has a vertical reach of approximately 13 1/2" and a horizontal reach of about 9".

The original red cardboard protective box has done a very good job of protecting this base. With the help of plenty of clear tape, it is still very solid and should continue to protect your tools for many years to come. This American made magnetic base is ready to go back to work immediately and would make a great addition to any precision toolbox.
