This is a Starrett No. 711GCSZ Last Word Universal Dial Test Indicator with all attachments. All the attachments needed were added to No. 711FSAZ upgrading it to the No. White half shaded yellow Dial, 0-15-0 Reading. Comes in fitted case, and box. 711 has a balanced dial, a swiveling body and inch measurements, has a hard chrome-plated steel ratchet contact point for taking precise measurements in machining, layout, and inspection work. The ball contact tip reaches into the work piece for accurate measurements of turned, milled and ground parts and for tool setting gages, fixtures and inspections. The half yellow shading for accurate reading when used with a mirror or in jig bore application.
The positive reversing switch changes the reading direction. Has a swiveling tubular body for universal mounting positions. Has a jeweled lever action for smooth operation and the points are replaceable. Indicator meets or exceeds accuracy and performance requirements of National and International Standards.
