Starrett S909Z precision tool kit 1 micrometer, dial caliper, 6 scale set

Here is a Starrett No. S909Z precision tool kit in its original protective case.

This set has been used so you will find a few minor cosmetic imperfections but nothing that will hinder their usefulness. Everything is in excellent used condition, just a few minor scratches.

There are no initials or engravings anywhere on these tools. 120A 6 dial caliper is in great condition. Everything slides around the way it is supposed to, I guarantee it. The clear lens has a few very minor flaws but is still easily readable. 436 1 outside micrometer is also in excellent condition.

The thimble moves easily without any hesitations, Smooth! The lock and ratchet work perfectly, just as designed. The carbide faces looks as if they were mirrors. C304SRE scale also looks great. This set all comes in a beautiful fitted case that measures 11" x 5" × 1 1/8.

This box has a few minor imperfections suffered from protecting these tools. There must have been something set on top of this case in the past. As the last photograph shows, there is an imprint on top that may go away in the future.

Please don't let this detract from what is otherwise a very nice used set of tools. It still opens easily, snaps shut, and holds these tools securely.

It will continue to protect these tools for years to come. These American made tools are ready to go to work immediately and would make a great addition to any percision toolbox.
