VDW Commercial Adjustable Dual Dial Indicator Base Mitutoyo & Starrett Indicator
Please review photos carefully for condition and completeness. Item is used, pulled from a working environment in a manufacturing setting, normal wear as shown including finish wear, etching, scratches, etc... I believe these were used to check watch part sizes prior to assembly, there is not a lot of information available but from what I found this base was manufactured in Germany. It has a fully adjustable modular design, can be used to check small parts, wire gauge, or any other small items in a quick manner. Has a square tooth that opens / closes with the press of a lever, left side 3.9 mm wide / 1.3 mm fully opened; right side is 3.9 mm wide, 4.65 mm fully opened.
It does appear there is roughly 13 mm more that can be increased on the right and 6.8 mm on the left with the top screw. Item is a bit awkward to measure so dimensions are very close but not exact. Unit comes with everything shown including a Mitutoyo Absolute (ID-S112PEB) and Starrett 2720-0, EDP 65815.003.006 so will need calibration, the Starrett throws an Error-1 every so often as such this dial indicator will need repair / maintenance and are included free.
